Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We’re looking for a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our People Team in Batam, to foster a culture of excellence and growth within our organization by aligning HR strategies with business objectives

What You’ll Be Doing

 Strategic HR partnership

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, including organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Influence and align cross-functional and cross-region stakeholders to drive people initiatives, resolve organisational challenges, and achieve business outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing strategic counsel on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team performance.
• Champion company culture by coaching leaders to uphold performance expectations, values, and accountability, while proactively addressing critical people risks.

Talent Management

• Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent through succession planning and targeted development initiatives.
• Facilitate regular talent reviews to identify capability gaps, succession risks, and development opportunities, driving actionable talent plans.
• Advise leaders on employee engagement and career development strategies to strengthen retention and enhance the employee experience

Performance Management

• Lead the performance and compensation review cycle, partnering with senior stakeholders and HR colleagues to ensure consistency, fairness, and timely execution.
• Coach leaders on performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback, performance improvement, and difficult performance conversations.
• Monitor organisational performance trends and recommend interventions that strengthen individual and team effectiveness

Employee Relations 

• Serve as the primary HR advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employment matters, HR policies, and best practices.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, partnering with business leaders and Legal to mitigate risk and achieve commercially sound outcomes. 
• Support conflict resolution through effective coaching, mediation, and pragmatic problem-solving. 

Implementation and review of policies and processes:

• Drive the implementation of HR programmes and initiatives, ensuring effective communication, adoption, and alignment with business priorities.
• Partner with Centres of Excellence to review, refine, and improve HR policies and processes based on business needs and employee feedback.
• Identify opportunities to enhance organisational effectiveness by analysing employee insights, workforce data, and operational challenges, recommending practical solutions.

Who We Are Looking For 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HRBP/HR Generalist who's interested in taking the HRBP path
• A proven track record of delivering results and driving people initiatives through effective HR strategies.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, especially with leaders.
• Commercially astute to deliver tailored solutions that benefit both the business and the people.
• Strategic problem solver with high ownership and drive
• Adaptable self-starter who learns and moves quickly
• Ability to effectively prioritise multiple work streams and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
