Quantity Surveyor

Urgently needed Quantity Surveyor with details below:

Job Descriptions:

1. Quantity Take-off, Cost Management & General works (Mechanical and Electrical work):
   • Prepare detailed Quantity Take Offs (QTO) (M&E)
   • Site Progress measurement, Procurement & Engineering progress measurement
   • Prepare cost estimates and budgets, Variation orders
   • Cost claim: Delay claims; Additional works; Price escalation; etc.
   • Maintain accurate quantity surveying records, Payment records.
   • Ensure compliance with Contract terms and conditions
   • Perform cost and budget analysis and provide related reports to project management.

2. Interim Payment Application to Employer (Client):
   • Calculate eligible Executed Works amount according to Work progress
   • Collect & Cross-checking on supporting documents / proves of work done (Test reports, Delivery notes, Inspection documents, etc.)
   • Working / Coordinate closely with Civil partner with the Consultant and the Client
   • Verify the Consultant's Interim payment certification
   • Portioning received payment with the Civil partner.

3. Interim Payment Application from Subcontractors:
   • Process and verify subcontractor Interim payment applications
   • Validate supporting documentation and perform arithmetic checks
   • Ensure compliance with subcontract payment terms and conditions
   • Coordinate with site team to verify physical progress
   • Issue Payment certifications stating approved amounts and applicable deductions

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical or other relevant discipline

2. Minimum 5 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor especially in M&E work

3.  Good understanding of construction methods and types of materials

4. Mastering knowledge regarding project cost calculations, Quantity take off, Progress calculation.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, AutoCAD, MS Word.

6. Experience with Navisworks 3D modeling is an advantage

7. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and components

8. Excellent Communication Skill to Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders, government officials and regulatory bodies.

9. Strong negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities
