Purchasing Manager

A well-established restaurant group specializing in Western cuisine is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and creative Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, ensuring cost efficiency, product quality, and timely availability of goods. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive and resourceful, and brings fresh ideas and innovative approaches to improve our purchasing strategies and supplier network.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from sourcing and vendor selection tonegotiation and procurement.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery.

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, products, and sourcing opportunities to support business growth.

• Conduct market research and stay updated on pricing, product trends, and market developments.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.

• Monitor purchasing activities and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely availability of products and materials.

• Analyze purchasing data, costs, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, R&D, and other departments to support business needs and new initiatives.

• Develop and implement creative purchasing strategies and processes to improve efficiency and support business growth.

• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and budget requirements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably within the F&B, hospitality, retail, or related industry.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Creative, proactive, and resourceful, with a strong ability to generate and implement new ideas.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with purchasing or inventory management systems is a plus.

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
