Requirements:

• Education: 

o Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical field.

o Professional certifications (POM / POP / POU) are highly preferred.

• Experience:

o Minimum 8–10 years of mining operations experience, including the past 3–5 years in a managerial role.

o Proven history of managing mining operations and mining projects under a strict, cost-focused P&L (Profit & Loss) model. 

o Must possess a background from a Mining Contractor, where strict budgetary discipline and cost-per-ton optimization were central to the role. Experience from Mine Owners is insufficient for this role.

o Experience in Nickel mining, or other mineral contractors, Copper, Gold, Bauxite. Batu Split (Crushed Stone/Aggregate), Sand, or Gravel Quarrying, and companies focused only on Civil Earthworks or Hauling for an owner/contractor, will not be considered for this role.

• Project Depth: Proven experience in handling Greenfield projects from the "land clearing" stage all the way to "shipping/jetty" operations.

• Technical Expertise:

o Strong understanding of mining methods, mine planning, pit sequence, and production optimization.

o Proficient in stringent budgeting, forecasting, and manpower-to-equipment ratio calculations.

o Strong capability in fleet matching, equipment ratio calculations, and site budgeting/cost analysis.

• Personal Qualities:

o Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

o A "proactive, hands-on" leader who can execute directly alongside the team and manage complex contractor relationships.

o High resilience, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.

o Proactive, analytical, and highly committed to operational excellence.

• Language: Adequate English skill, to understand technical terms, and daily coordinations.

• Placement : Konawe

Responsibilities:

• Greenfield Project Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of new mining projects, including infrastructure development (hauling roads, jetties), pit opening, and site facilities construction.

• Operational Excellence: Manage end-to-end mining operations including pit planning, production scheduling, and fleet management to achieve monthly and annual targets.

• Fleet & Cost Optimization: Design and optimize fleet planning (matching and ratio calculations) and monitor site budgeting to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.

• Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary lead for coordinating with contractors (MDO), engineering teams, pit services, and local authorities to ensure project continuity.

• Safety & Governance: Enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and ensure all site activities comply with mining regulations and corporate ethics.

• Strategic Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting on production progress, project milestones, and financial performance to senior leadership.
