Happy Trails! Asia is an eco-tourism and passionate Destination Management Company (DMC). We operate tours to Indonesia, Bali, Malaysia, Borneo, Singapore and Brunei. We have offices in Bali, Java, Sumatra, Kuala Lumpur, and Borneo.

We are in search of a resourceful and detail-oriented Travel Consultant with excellent customer service skills to join our rapidly growing and expanding company

About the role

As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for communicating with clients, handling all requests, questions, and providing tourism-related services. You will coordinate with the Account Manager to prepare tour quotations based on requests, respond to client inquiries, coordinate with related departments to execute bookings and payments, ensure the smooth execution of travel arrangements, and resolve any problems that arise regarding trips for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and handle all requests and questions

• Provide tourism-related services

• Coordinate with Account Manager to prepare tour quotations (tailor-made) based on requests

• Respond to all client inquiries and provide the best options of travel services

• Coordinate with related departments to execute bookings and payments

• Ensure the smooth execution of travel arrangements and provide exceptional customer experiences

• Resolve any problems that arise regarding the trip for the customer

About you

• Minimum 1 year experience in Inbound Tour Operator or related fields

• Excellent command of spoken and written English

• Good command of German/Dutch is a great competitive advantage

• Familiarity with domestic travel destinations, reservations, and quotations

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work as part of a team

• Based in Yogyakarta
