Quality Assurance Leader

Job Description:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Manual QA and Automation QA/SDET team.

• Drive automated testing integration into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure effective testing across functional, API, integration, regression, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.

• Drive test automation for critical business and integration flows across API and UI.

• Improve automation coverage, reliability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.

• Monitor and improve QA metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, and test effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to identify and manage quality risks.

• Drive automated testing integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  

Qualifications :

• 6+ years of experience in Software QA/Testing, with at least 2 years in a QA Lead, Senior QA, or similar leadership role.

• Proven experience leading or mentoring Manual QA and Automation QA/SDET engineers.

• Experience in fintech, payment, transaction processing, B2B, or integration-heavy products is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, test case design, regression, integration, API, UI, and risk-based testing.

• Hands-on experience with API and UI test automation.

• Strong programming experience with Java, JUnit Test Runner, and Cucumber.

• Experience building automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver or similar UI automation tools.

• Experience with API automation/testing, preferably using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

• Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools is a plus.

• Good understanding of SQL and MySQL for data validation.

• Experience working with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Jira and Jira AIO or similar test management tools.

• Familiarity with cloud and distributed systems, particularly GCP, GCP Logs, Cloud Functions, and Google Pub/Sub.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and people-leadership skills.
