About the role
Asisten Guru Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) at Miracle Special Needs Education. The role involves supporting teachers in teaching activities and daily activities of students with special needs, providing individual guidance according to teacher direction and each student's needs, and assisting students in academic, communication, social, motor, independence, and daily living activities.
Key responsibilities
- Accompany students in classroom activities, play, meals, toileting, and activities outside the classroom
- Provide individual support according to teacher guidance and each student's needs
- Assist students in academic, communication, social, motor, independence, and daily living activities
- Help maintain safety, comfort, and cleanliness of students while at school
- Assist teachers in conducting observations and recording student development or behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers and school team in implementing learning and student support programs
About you
- Minimum S1 education
- Care and concern for children, particularly children with special needs
- Patient, compassionate, communicative, disciplined, responsible, and able to work in a team
- Willingness to learn about handling and supporting children with special needs
- Able to follow teacher guidance and school procedures
- Physically healthy and able to support students' physical activities
- Experience supporting children with special needs is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
