About the role

KUMON PASEKAN BATUBULAN is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Language Teacher to join our educational team in Gianyar, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to primary-level students. As an English Language Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a love of learning and developing students' communication skills, confidence, and proficiency in English. This role is essential to our mission of providing individualised, progressive learning experiences that help each student reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons tailored to individual student needs and learning levels

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development

• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence

• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets and educational resources that align with curriculum objectives

• Monitor student understanding and adjust teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes

• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and development

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance and assessments

• Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall success of the English language programme

• Encourage students to develop critical thinking skills and a genuine interest in the English language

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field

• Recognised teaching qualification or TEFL/TESOL certification

• Proven experience teaching English to primary-level students

• Strong command of English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, parents and colleagues

• Ability to create engaging, interactive and age-appropriate lessons

• Patient, approachable and enthusiastic approach to teaching and student development

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple students with different learning needs

• Flexibility and willingness to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements

• Experience with the Kumon method or progressive learning systems is advantageous
