About the role
Our Company is seeking a dedicated Safety, Health & Environment Staff member to join our team in Karawang, West Java. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations maintain the highest standards of workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance. As Safety, Health & Environment Staff, you will be instrumental in protecting our workforce, safeguarding our operations, and maintaining our commitment to sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices. This position is essential to our mission of creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally conscious workplace.
Key responsibilities
Monitor and ensure K3 & HSE compliance across the plant.
Conduct routine Safety Patrol, Safety Inspection, and Risk Assessment (HIRARC/JSA).
Monitor PPE compliance and workplace safety conditions.
Manage and monitor B3 hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with applicable regulations.
Support environmental monitoring and waste management activities.
Support emergency response, fire safety, and safety training activities.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and follow up corrective actions.
Prepare HSE reports, documentation, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with related departments to implement HSE improvement programs.
Support General Affairs activities and other related administrative tasks as needed.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as HSE/Safety Staff, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of K3, HIRARC/JSA, Risk Assessment, Safety Inspection, Emergency Response, and Accident Investigation.
Familiar with SMK3, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
AK3 Umum certification is preferred.
Additional HSE certifications such as First Aid/P3K, Fire Fighting, Emergency Response, ISO Auditor, or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Able to communicate in English for daily work communication, meetings, reporting, and HSE documentation.
Ability to read and understand English technical documents, safety procedures, manuals, and regulations.
Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement skills.
Willing to work directly in a manufacturing/plant environment.
