About Us
Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia is part of Daewoong Group, supporting healthcare growth in Indonesia through pharmaceutical business development, new-product launches, medical society collaboration, and cross-functional execution with Korea and Indonesia teams.
The Market Access function is part of the Ethical Marketing organization and works closely with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Sales/RPM, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, distributors/partners, hospital-group headquarters, national institutions, central pharmacy/formulary committees, procurement, contracting, and KOLs. The immediate priority is to secure centralized access for three early-stage products at named strategic hospital groups and national institutions, then convert central approvals into purchasing activation, network availability, prescriptions, and sustainable sales. Routine standalone or local hospital listing is outside the role's primary scope.
About the role
The Market Access Manager is expected to be the accountable owner of the centralized hospital-group and national-institution listing funnel. This is not a policy-only, coordination-only, or routine standalone-hospital listing position. The employee must personally drive strategic account prioritization, headquarters or national-level stakeholder and committee mapping, dossier preparation, value communication, submission, pricing and contracting, tender or procurement negotiation, approval, purchasing activation, first order, network rollout, availability, and early utilization. The rolae must maintain evidence-based weekly reporting, resolve barriers cross-functionally, and ensure every central approval has a clear implementation and commercial activation plan across the relevant member hospitals or institutional units.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute the centralized market access and product-listing strategy for named strategic hospital groups and national institutions, aligned with business priorities, launch plans, and sales objectives.
Build and continuously update a prioritized target-account list limited to major hospital groups and national-level healthcare institutions.
Own the complete centralized listing process from headquarters or national-level account mapping, stakeholder identification, pathway confirmation, dossier preparation, and committee engagement through approval, pricing and contracting, tender or procurement activation, first order, network rollout, product availability, and early utilization.
Build and maintain relationships with hospital-group headquarters, national-institution management, central pharmacy and therapeutics/formulary committees, procurement, finance, contracting, clinicians/KOLs, and other relevant group-level or national decision makers and influencers.
Coordinate with Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales/RPM, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and distributors/partners to prepare complete clinical, value, pricing, contract, tender, procurement, and submission requirements.
Develop group-level and national-institution clinical and commercial value propositions and support compliant pricing, contracting, procurement, tender, reimbursement, and rollout discussions.
Maintain a verified weekly centralized-listing funnel showing account stage, approval evidence, blockers, risks, responsible PIC, next actions, expected decision dates, approval status, and network rollout or post-approval activation status.
Ensure approved group or institutional listings convert into activated purchasing pathways, first orders, product availability across relevant member hospitals or institutional units, appropriate field activation, prescriptions/users, and measurable business contribution.
Monitor hospital-group, national-institution, centralized procurement, tender, reimbursement, and competitor-access developments; assess implications and recommend clear actions to management.
Coordinate and guide field teams and distributors/partners on post-approval implementation, member-hospital activation, document requirements, and conversion from central listing to utilization and sales.
Ensure all access activities comply with company procedures, IPMG principles, anti-bribery requirements, and applicable regulations.
Routine standalone or local hospital code-ins remain outside the role's primary scope and should be managed by the relevant field or account owner.
