About the role

PT Bangun Eksotis Nugraha is seeking a Cook Helper Daily Worker to join our kitchen team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Cook Helper, you will provide essential support to our kitchen operations, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring smooth daily service delivery. This role is fundamental to the success of our food service operations and contributes directly to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning vegetables, fruits and proteins

• Supporting cooks with food preparation tasks under their direction and supervision

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, utensils and cooking equipment

• Assisting with the organisation and storage of food items in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Supporting the delivery of meals and food items to designated service areas as required

• Monitoring food stock levels and assisting with inventory management

• Following all food hygiene and safety protocols to maintain high standards of sanitation

• Responding promptly to requests from kitchen staff and management

• Contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, food service or hospitality environment is preferred

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen setting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others

• Reliability and punctuality in attendance

• Knowledge of basic food hygiene practices is advantageous
