IND Community Programme Lead (Volunteer)

About Glyph

Glyph is a Singapore-based social organisation that designs and runs education and community programmes for children and youth. We work with schools, charities, companies, and government agencies across the region.

About the Role

We are looking for 1 volunteer based in Jakarta and 1 volunteer based in Surabaya to help build our community programmes in Indonesia. This is a flexible remote role. You may continue with your full-time job or studies while volunteering with us. We focus on outcomes rather than fixed working hours. You will report directly to our Singapore team. 

Responsibilities

- Build partnerships with local NGOs, schools, donors and sponsors

- Meet potential partners, sponsors, and donors

- Support the planning and coordination of children's programmes

- Coordinate with local volunteers and partners

- Provide regular updates to the Singapore team

- Support other programme-related tasks when required

Requirements

- Based in Jakarta or Surabaya

- Comfortable communicating in English and Bahasa Indonesia

- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Office 

- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently

- Comfortable meeting new people and building partnerships

- Able to commit at least 4 - 8 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months

Important Information

- This is a volunteer position

- There is no salary, allowance, or reimbursement; all travel, transport, meals, phone, and other expenses are self-funded

- If performance is satisfactory and operational needs arise, the role may be converted into a paid retainer position. This is not guaranteed and will be entirely at Glyph's discretion.
