EXPORT IMPORT MANAGER (FREIGHT FORWARDING)

Job Description :

• Oversee and lead end-to-end export and import operations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and on time shipment delivery.

• Coordinate and maintain strong relationship with customers, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers/PPJK, agents, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor operational KPI's identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.

• Ensure compliance with applicable export/import procedures, customs regulations and company SOP.

• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising service quality.

• Handle operational escalations and provide effective solutions to shipment, documentation, customs, and delivery issues.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in any major related to the field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Export Import in a freight forwarding / logistic company with prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of Export Import processes, freight forwarding, domestic logistics and customs procedures.

• Good knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and applicable export import requirements.

• Commercial awareness and exposure to customer acquisition, business development, or marketing within freight forwarding/logistics industry is preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English is preferred.

• Able to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.

• Willing to be placed in Surabaya

Regular working hours, Monday – Friday
