About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Driver to join our team at CELBERT GENERAL MERCHANDISE INC. in Silang, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in enhancing our customers' shopping experience. This role is essential to our retail operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our store.
Job Summary
The Driver ensures safe, timely, and accurate delivery of goods and collections to customers and store locations. This role contributes directly to the 90% on-time delivery target set in the 2026 plan.
Detailed Job Description
Responsible for operating delivery vehicles, handling goods with care, ensure deliveries are paid and accounted for, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring compliance with road and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely and on schedule.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily and report issues promptly.
- Assist in loading and unloading as needed.
- Follow delivery routes efficiently.
- Ensure proper documentation and customer acknowledgement.
Qualifications
- Professional Driver's License
- 2-3 years of experience in grocery, retail, and supermarket
- Experience in driving an aluminum truck and closed van
- Resides or lives near Silang, Cavite
- Delivery Helper experience is an advantage
Compensation and Benefits
- Daily wage of ?600.00
- Coverage under all government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG)
