Implementation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Project Initiation

  ● Manage formal handover from Sales/SD upon customer award — compile and complete all handover documentation

  ● Lead and facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings with all relevant stakeholders

  ● Create and maintain the Project Charter (scope, objectives, key stakeholders, timelines)

  ● Assign and confirm work stream leads and project team responsibilities

  ● Conduct or coordinate site surveys and readiness assessments for new locations

  ● Obtain formal project approval from the Board of Directors before proceeding to Planning

  2. Project Planning

  ● Develop and maintain detailed implementation timelines and milestone schedules

  ● Finalize layout plans, system development plans, and operational flow designs in collaboration with SD and OPS

  ● Align with Procurement, IT Infrastructure, HR, and Finance on sourcing, system setup, and staffing requirements

  ● Manage and finalize project budgets; track actual spend against approved cost model throughout

  ● Create or validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where new processes differ from general SBS standards

  ● Manage project change requests — document, assess impact, and seek approval from relevant stakeholders

  3. Execution & Delivery

  ● Monitor and drive progress across all workstreams: facility setup, IT infrastructure, IT systems, licensing, operational setup, manpower setup, and training

  ● Coordinate and manage manpower setup including job posting, hiring coordination, onboarding, and training programmes

  ● Produce weekly project status reports for internal stakeholders and customers

  ● Conduct pre-go-live readiness assessments and facilitate the final Go/No-Go decision meeting

  ● Maintain risk and issue logs throughout the implementation lifecycle

  ● Control and monitor budget — identify deviations early and escalate appropriately

  4. Stage-Gate Governance

  ● Own stage-gate sign-off documentation at each implementation phase (Initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitor & Control)

  ● Conduct Go/No-Go meetings with all stakeholders; present readiness assessment and obtain BOD approval to proceed

  ● Ensure no phase is entered without formal sign-off from the previous stage gate

  5. Hypercare & BaU Transition

  ● Lead the hypercare period following go-live: operational performance monitoring, issue resolution, and customer reporting

  ● Develop and maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for new operations

  ● Coordinate the first customer invoice process with Finance and Sales

  ● Prepare and deliver a complete project handover to Operations — including handover checklist, outstanding items, SOP documentation, and system access

  ● Announce and formalise the official BaU effective date upon successful handover

  6. Reporting & Governance

  ● Provide weekly implementation status updates to the COO and CEO (simultaneously)

  ● Present new project prioritisation requests to the CEO before committing to timelines

  ● Conduct lessons learned workshops upon project closure and register new SOPs with the Quality team

  ● Maintain an implementation tracker covering all active and pipeline projects across SBS sites

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements

  ● Bachelor's degree (S1) in any field — Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering preferred

  ● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, logistics operations, or supply chain execution

  ● Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders

  ● Experience in container depot, warehousing, freight forwarding, or port logistics operations is strongly preferred

  ● Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)

  Preferred / Advantage

  ● Project management certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent

  ● Experience with in-plant or customer-site logistics operations (e.g. automotive, FMCG)

  ● Familiarity with depot management systems and operational KPI frameworks

  ● Experience in a JV or multi-stakeholder environment
