About the role
Supervise and control coal quality from PIT, ROM, CPP, stockpile through to loading/shipment. Ensure coal getting, hauling, dumping, and stocking processes are conducted according to procedure to prevent contamination and quality degradation. Lead and supervise the team to achieve quality targets, productivity, and work discipline.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and control coal quality from PIT, ROM, CPP, stockpile until loading/shipment
Ensure coal getting, hauling, dumping, and stocking are performed according to procedure to prevent contamination and quality degradation
Supervise coal sampling and sample preparation activities according to SOP and monitor coal quality analysis results
Ensure stockpile arrangement based on seam and quality to prevent mixing of different quality coal and potential coal combustion
Coordinate with relevant departments in handling coal quality issues
Lead and supervise team to achieve quality targets, productivity, and work discipline
Ensure all work is carried out according to SOP and occupational safety standards
About you
Minimum D3/S1 in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in Coal Quality Control, with minimum 2 years experience as Supervisor
Understanding of coal quality control processes, sampling, sample preparation, and coal quality analysis
Understanding of coal getting, coal hauling, stockpile, coal blending, and contamination control
Good analytical, problem solving, and leadership capabilities
POP certification
Able to operate Microsoft Office
Class A driving license and able to drive manual/LV vehicles
Willing to be placed in operational area/site
