About the role
We are looking for an English teacher. You will play an important role in inspiring students to love learning and reach their full potential at Yayasan Pendidikan Global Village Indonesia in North Jakarta, Jakarta.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver in-depth teaching materials, develop and implement engaging lessons, teaching modules, and syllabi aligned with the curriculum
Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for junior/high school students
Prepare students for academic exams
Foster students' critical thinking and communication skills
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a deep learning experience
Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents
About you
Minimum Bachelor's degree in English or other relevant field
Strong understanding of pedagogy
Ability to use technology in learning and own a personal laptop
A good understanding of the Merdeka and Cambridge curriculum
A strong desire to improve, upgrade, and learn
Humble and time management abilities to juggle multiple priorities
Creative and enjoys working with teenagers
Fluency in Bahasa and English (spoken and written), minimum TOEFL score 475
Being able to play musical instruments will be an added advantage
