Project Site Manager (Retail Fit-Out Mall)

Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee end-to-end retail fit-out mall, renovation, and new store development projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Develop project execution strategies, implementation schedules, resource allocation plans, and project milestones to ensure successful delivery.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.

• Ensure all construction, fit-out, and renovation works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, company standards, and applicable regulations.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Operations, Procurement, Finance, Design, Leasing, and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

• Manage relationships and performance of contractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers by monitoring deliverables, quality, costs, and project timelines.

• Review, evaluate, and approve project progress reports, work schedules, variation orders, and contractor claims.

• Establish and monitor project budgets, control project expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve critical issues that may impact project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/K3) standards across all project sites.

• Conduct regular site visits and project review meetings to ensure quality, operational readiness, and timely project completion.

• Prepare executive-level reports and project updates for senior management, including project performance, budget utilization, and key milestones.

• Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management, construction processes, and vendor management.
  

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–10 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Retail Development, or Fit-Out Mall projects.

• Strong experience managing multiple retail, commercial, F&B, or hospitality fit-out projects simultaneously.

• Solid understanding of retail fit-out processes, construction methodologies, project planning, budgeting, and contract administration.

• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, as-built drawings, construction documentation, and technical specifications.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders.

• Strong project planning, negotiation, analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present project updates to senior leadership.

• Willing to travel extensively and oversee projects across multiple locations.

• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment.
