Industrial Project Manager

PT Central Global Batam is a general contracting company specializing in industrial designbuild and fitout projects within Batam’s Free Trade Zone. We handle large-scale factory

construction, retrofits, and facility upgrades for multinational manufacturing clients,

managing civil works in-house while coordinating closely with HVAC and MEP

subcontractors on design, procurement, and execution

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and

execution of industrial construction and fitout projects — from client scoping through

handover. You will be the central point of accountability across civil, HVAC, and MEP

disciplines, working directly with clients, subcontractors, and our internal team to deliver

projects on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end execution of industrial fitout and factory retrofit projects

Coordinate civil, HVAC, and MEP scopes across in-house teams and subcontractors

Interface directly with clients (often multinational manufacturers) to manage scope,

schedule, and expectations

Review and validate subcontractor quotations, BOQs, and technical designs for

HVAC/MEP works

Track project timelines, budgets, and resolve site-level discrepancies between design

and as-built conditions

Manage procurement coordination, delivery schedules, and site logistics

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (permits, safety, technical

standards)

Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management and clients

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the construction

industry

Strong working knowledge of HVAC and MEP systems — design coordination,

installation sequencing, and commissioning

Prior experience with a general contractor, managing multi-discipline projects (civil +

MEP + HVAC)

Proven track record on industrial, factory, or large-scale commercial projects —

references from past projects strongly preferred

Fluent in English (spoken and written) — role involves direct communication with

international clients

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, comfortable managing multiple

subcontractors and moving parts simultaneously

Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and permitting processes is a plus

Based in or willing to relocate to Batam
