Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Architect with 2-5 years of experience in mall tenant fit-out projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the interior architecture and layout modifications required for retail tenants within shopping malls, ensuring compliance with client requirements, branding guidelines, and mall regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural design concepts and detailed drawings for tenant fit-out projects in shopping malls.
- Prepare and present design proposals, plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visuals to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with retail tenants, mall management, and contractors to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and mall design standards.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and other engineering disciplines to integrate architectural designs seamlessly.
- Manage project documentation including permits, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Assist in cost estimation and budget control during fit-out development.
- Stay updated with latest architectural trends, materials, and fit-out technologies relevant to retail environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably in commercial or retail fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Strong understanding of retail environments, tenant requirements, and mall operational procedures.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience working directly with retail brands or mall operators.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices in commercial spaces.
