Senior 2D Artist

Ixilix is a technology-driven company that builds high-quality solutions and long-term partnerships. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a2D Artist.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D art assets for crash, instant, hyper-casual, tapper, and other game genres.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and ensure high artistic quality across multiple projects.
• Create characters, environments, props, UI elements, icons, and other in-game assets.
• Prepare and optimize art assets for implementation in the game client.
• Collaborate closely with Game Producers, developers, and other artists throughout the development process.
• Participate in defining the visual direction of new games and features.
• Continuously improve art quality, production workflows, and asset creation processes.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game development industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality game art across multiple projects.
• Excellent skills in creating characters, environments, props, UI elements, and icons.
• Strong understanding of mobile game art pipelines and asset optimization.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other digital art tools.
• Confident experience using AI-powered creative tools (such as Midjourney, ChatGPT or similar) to accelerate concept creation, iteration, and production workflows.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of art quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• English - B1 level or higher.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on crash, instant, tapper, or hyper-casual games.
• Experience creating VFX assets for mobile games.
• Understanding of 2D animation pipelines (Spine or similar tools).
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles for games.
• Experience creating marketing and promotional visuals.
• Experience mentoring artists or leading art initiatives.

Work conditions:

• Remote work from EU
• Flexible 8-hour workday, typically between 9:00 - 18:00 CET
• Five working days, Monday to Friday
