Job Description
Commercial & Contract Management
Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, service, non-disclosure, lease, and partnership agreements.
Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to support business objectives.
Support contract lifecycle management and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Corporate Governance & Corporate Secretarial
Manage corporate secretarial matters for company entities.
Prepare and maintain statutory corporate documents, board resolutions, shareholders' resolutions, and regulatory filings.
Coordinate with external notaries, legal consultants, and government authorities as required.
Regulatory Compliance & Licensing
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and manage business licenses, registrations, permits, and regulatory submissions.
Provide guidance on compliance-related matters across business functions.
Employment & Industrial Relations Support
Provide legal advice on employment-related matters.
Review and draft employment-related documents, policies, and agreements.
Legal Advisory & Business Partnering
Act as legal business partner
Provide timely and commercially practical legal advice.
Support strategic projects, business initiatives, and organizational changes from a legal perspective.
Dispute Management
Coordinate and manage legal disputes, claims, and litigation matters with external counsel when necessary.
Support settlement negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
Job Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in law
Advocate license is an advantage
Minimum 5+ years of legal experience, preferably as Legal Counsel, Senior Legal Officer, Legal Supervisor, or Assistant Legal Manager.
Experience in multinational companies, trading, distribution, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering sectors is preferred.
Strong exposure to commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, compliance, and licensing.
