WAITERS WAITRESSES CASHIER

About the role

The Canopy Cafe & Bar is seeking enthusiastic and professional WAITERS, WAITRESSES and CASHIERS to join our hospitality team in Pejeng Kangin, Gianyar, Bali. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to work in the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry. As a member of our service team, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the high standards our establishment is known for. Whether you are taking orders, serving meals, or processing payments, your role is vital to ensuring our guests leave with memorable experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them at appropriate tables in a timely manner

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage options

• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests whilst maintaining attention to detail

• Communicating orders to kitchen and bar staff clearly and efficiently

• Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct items reach the correct guests

• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

• Processing payments accurately using till systems and handling cash and card transactions securely

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations

• Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times

• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods

• Handling guest inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously

• Working nicely as a team with all team members.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, cashier or in a similar hospitality service role.

• Familiar with Operating System (Moka/Majoo)

• Organized , Professional and Trustworthy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service

• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions

• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

• Fluency in Indonesian; English language skills are advantageous

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• A neat, professional appearance and willingness to wear uniform standards

• Knowledge of food safety and basic dining etiquette is preferred
