Supply Chain Section Head

Job Description

1. Manage material requirement planning (MRP) based on forecast and production plan.

2. Supervise purchasing activities and negotiate with suppliers (price, quality, lead time, and payment terms).

3. Control inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular stock opname and monitoring.

4. Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution processes in accordance with company SOP.

5. Ensure on-time delivery performance (OTIF) and optimize logistics costs.

6. Prepare and analyze Supply Chain KPIs (inventory level, service level, cost saving, lead time).

7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.

8. Lead, develop, and evaluate the Supply Chain team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, PPIC, Procurement, or Warehouse Management within a manufacturing company.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory, section head, or equivalent leadership role.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PPIC (Production Planning & Inventory Control), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse operations.

• Experienced in coordinating production planning, material availability, and inventory control to support manufacturing operations.

• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and achieve operational targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, packaging, chemical, food & beverage, or other manufacturing industries.

• Familiar with ISO, GMP, HACCP, or Quality Management Systems (QMS).

• Certification in Supply Chain, PPIC, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Kaizen is an advantage.
