Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and oversee all purchasing activities to ensure smooth production and supply chain operations
Source, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery standards
Conduct thorough price and quality comparisons, prepare analysis reports, and provide recommendations for purchasing decisions
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve optimal cost efficiency
Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and continuously develop new supplier networks
Ensure all purchased materials and goods comply with food safety and quality requirements
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages or overstocking
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles; prior experience in the food industry is highly preferred
Strong skills in vendor selection, comparison, evaluation, and recommendation
Good analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
Must possess a private vehicle (2-wheel or 4-wheel) and a valid driving license
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Familiarity with supply chain processes and food safety standards is an advantage
