Structural Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

•? ?Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of civil and structural engineering works for both greenfield and brownfield data center projects.

•? ?Perform structural analysis and design calculations for reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and other structural systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

•? ?Prepare and review engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.

•? ?Coordinate with internal engineering teams, architect, contractors, and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of structural design packages.

•? ?Review structural designs and engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and applicable local regulations.

•? ?Support the resolution of technical design issues and provide practical engineering solutions throughout the design and construction phases.

•? ?Provide technical support during construction by responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, and resolving site-related engineering issues.

•? ?Attend design coordination meetings, site inspections, construction progress meetings, testing, and commissioning activities as required.

•? ?Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and utility disciplines.

•? ?Support budget estimation, value engineering, and constructability reviews to optimize project costs without compromising quality, safety, or reliability.

•? ?Monitor assigned engineering activities to ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

•? ?Maintain accurate engineering documentation, design records, and project files in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

•? ?Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, and/or demonstrated exceptional ability relevant to the role.

•? ?Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably involving villas design. 

•? ?Strong understanding of data center structural design requirements, including equipment loading, raised floor systems, equipment foundations, cable trenches, utility structures, and building resilience.

•? ?Experience supporting construction activities, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and resolving site engineering issues.
