Scaffolding Inspector/ Scaffolding Technician

We are currently recruiting professional candidates for Scaffolding Inspector/ Scaffolding Technician to join and work at High Volt Technology with the following qualifications:

1. Minimum High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent education; at least 2 (two) years of work experience in scaffolding; and a certificate of good health from a doctor or hospital. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position;

2. Possession of OHS (K3) certification, BNSP certification, and/or Ministry of Manpower certification as a scaffolding technician is an advantage;

3. Understanding of scaffolding technical design, including material types, structural strength, and correct installation methods;

4. Practical skills in operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts, as well as the ability to erect and dismantle scaffolding quickly and efficiently;

5. Awareness of workplace safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents;

6. Physical stamina for tasks such as lifting materials and working in extreme weather conditions;

7. Adaptability, including flexibility in adjusting scaffolding designs to meet evolving requirements;

8. Good communication skills for inter-team coordination;

9. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Candidates will be assigned and responsible for the following:

1. Understand the design and specifications of the structure to be built, including calculating the loads the scaffolding must support, environmental conditions, and worker access requirements;

2. Erect main uprights, horizontal beams, and other supporting components, ensuring all connections are properly secured using appropriate locking systems and adjusting the scaffolding's height and configuration to meet project needs;

3. Dismantle the scaffolding structure upon project completion, including organizing components for reuse on future projects and ensuring the dismantling process is carried out safely without damaging the work environment;

4. Perform periodic maintenance and inspections to detect damage, corrosion, or deformation in scaffolding components, including replacing damaged parts to prevent the risk of structural failure;

5. Coordinate and communicate with the project manager and construction team to understand scaffolding requirements and provide technical advice regarding the most efficient and safe scaffolding design;

6. Provide training to workers on the safe use of scaffolding, including educating them on the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and safety helmets.
