Associate

Agus Trianto & Partners Law Office is a growing law firm with a strong focus on corporate and commercial legal services. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Associate to join our team and support the firm's legal services, primarily in company establishment, permits and licensing, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters. 

Qualifications :

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree in Law is a plus)
• At least 3 years of working experience in corporate and/or litigation practice
• Fluently writing and speaking in English. (Toefl Score >550)
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Corporate Legal, Corporate Secretarial, Licensing & Permits, or Regulatory Compliance, either in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate law, corporate governance, and company establishment procedures.
• Hands-on experience in handling company incorporation, amendments to Articles of Association, General Meetings of Shareholders (GMS), and other corporate actions.
• Experience in managing business licensing and regulatory compliance, including OSS-RBA, NIB, Standard Certificates, LKPM, and other corporate licensing requirements.
• Familiarity with coordinating corporate filings and licensing matters with government authorities, notaries, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience advising clients on corporate compliance and regulatory matters is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Able to coordinate effectively with clients, notaries, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide legal support on corporate legal matters, including company establishment, corporate restructuring, amendments to the Articles of Association, General Meetings of Shareholders (GMS), and other corporate actions.
• Handle company incorporation and post-establishment processes, including registration through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, issuance and amendment of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), Standard Certificates, and other applicable business licenses and permits.
• Manage the application, renewal, amendment, and maintenance of business licenses, operational permits, and other regulatory approvals to ensure ongoing legal compliance.
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings and periodic reports, including Investment Activity Reports (LKPM) and other mandatory corporate filings required by the relevant authorities.
• Draft, review, and maintain corporate legal documents, including shareholders' resolutions, board resolutions, powers of attorney, corporate approvals, and other statutory documents.
• Coordinate with notaries, government authorities, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders in relation to corporate registrations, licensing, regulatory compliance, and corporate filings.
• Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and provide legal advice to clients on corporate governance, licensing, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents to support clients' business operations and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and organize clients' corporate records, ensuring all statutory documents, licenses, and corporate information remain complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Identify potential legal and regulatory risks related to corporate governance, licensing, and compliance matters, and provide practical recommendations for risk mitigation.
