Certified Pilates Instructor – Reformer & Hot Mat

Class Delivery

• Teach Reformer Pilates and/or Hot Mat Pilates classes according to MOJO’s class formats.

• Deliver clear, confident, and professional instructions in English.

• Demonstrate exercises accurately and safely.

• Provide exercise progressions and regressions for different customer levels.

• Maintain appropriate class flow, intensity, timing, and energy.

• Start and finish every class on time.

• Create a motivating, inclusive, and premium class experience.

• Adapt exercises for customers with different levels of fitness, mobility, or experience.

• Ensure customers understand the purpose and correct technique of each exercise.

Customer Experience

• Welcome customers before class and create a positive atmosphere.

• Learn the names and preferences of regular customers.

• Support first-time customers with equipment setup and class preparation.

• Provide individual attention while maintaining the overall class flow.

• Encourage customers to progress safely.

• Respond professionally to customer questions and feedback.

• Support customer retention by building trust and delivering consistent class quality.

Studio and Equipment Responsibilities

• Check reformers, springs, straps, ropes, mats, weights, resistance bands, and other accessories before class.

• Report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately.

• Ensure reformers and accessories are correctly positioned before and after class.

• Support customers with safe equipment adjustment.

• Coordinate with reception regarding attendance, new customers, injuries, and special requirements.

• Leave the studio clean, organized, and ready for the next class.

• Follow MOJO’s hygiene and equipment-cleaning procedures.

Programming and Team Responsibilities

• Follow MOJO’s approved class architecture and programming guidelines.

• Prepare class plans in advance.

• Participate in instructor training, workshops, assessments, and team meetings.

• Accept coaching and feedback from the Lead Instructor or Studio Manager.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pilates, anatomy, mobility, strength, and injury prevention.

• Contribute ideas for new classes, workshops, events, and customer programs.

• Support MOJO content production and occasional photoshoots when required.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Recognized certification in Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, or both.

• Strong understanding of Pilates principles, alignment, posture, breathing, and movement control.

• Good spoken English.

• Confident group-class teaching ability.

• Professional appearance and behavior.

• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to teach beginner and intermediate customers safely.

• Punctual, reliable, organized, and well-prepared.

• Willing to work morning, evening, weekend, and public-holiday shifts.

• Available to work on-site in Bali.

• Legally eligible to work in Indonesia.

Preferred

• At least one year of Pilates teaching experience.

• Certification in both Reformer and Mat Pilates.

• Experience teaching heated or Hot Mat Pilates classes.

• Training in anatomy, injury prevention, pre- and postnatal Pilates, rehabilitation, mobility, or strength training.

• First-aid or CPR certification.

• Experience delivering private sessions.

• Ability to teach in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Experience teaching international customers.

• Confidence participating in social-media content or promotional activities.
