About the role

PT JJX TECH INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Operator Laser Knife Mold Machine to join our manufacturing team in Karawang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations. As a Laser Knife Mold Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality molds and components. This role is essential to our manufacturing process and directly contributes to meeting production targets and maintaining our quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Operating laser knife mold machines according to specified technical parameters and production schedules

• Setting up machine configurations, tools, and materials in preparation for production runs

• Monitoring machine performance during operation and making real-time adjustments to ensure optimal output

• Inspecting finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications

• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of laser cutting equipment

• Troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance teams

• Maintaining accurate production records and documentation

• Following all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

• Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and targets

• Continuously improving machine efficiency and product quality through attention to detail

• Read and interpret technical drawings, dielines, and production requirements. Perform die adjustments, modifications, and repairs to ensure accurate cutting and creasing results.

• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized working environment.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating laser cutting or laser knife mold machines in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of machine operation, calibration, and basic maintenance procedures

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production instructions

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

• Proficiency in monitoring and adjusting machine parameters for optimal performance

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

• Preferred: Experience with mold production or precision manufacturing components

• Preferred: Certification or formal training in laser machine operation

• Minimum high school diploma or vocational education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, printing,  or related fields.

• Experience in making cutting dies, embossing dies, or punching dies is preferred. Familiar with steel rule die components, die boards, cutting rules, creasing rules, and stripping materials.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Die Maker / Steel Rule Die Maker in the printing, packaging or converting industry.
