Molding Production Assistant Manager (Batam, Indonesia – Relocation Required)

PT. Triplus Hitech, a foreign Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturer in Batam is hiring for Molding Production Assistant Manager

Ideal candidate for this position will be someone with criteria below:

• 7–10 years experience in plastic injection molding, with 3+ years in leadership roles

• Expert in mold setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and resin handling (ABS, PP, PC, etc.).

• Skilled with injection machines (Arburg, Toshiba, Haitian, Nissei) and familiar with ISO 9001/14001 systems.

• Data-driven, tracks performance using OEE, ERP, and production metrics to improve efficiency.

• Strong floor leadership — hands-on, calm under pressure, and effective at managing 30–100 operators.

• Promotes continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and waste reduction.

• Balances discipline and empathy, developing teams while ensuring high productivity and quality.

• Known for reliability, accountability, and innovation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production.

Job description for Molding production asst manager are as follows:

• Lead and supervise day-to-day production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.

• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to optimize efficiency.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Logistics.

• Prepare and analyze production reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.

• Manage and mentor production team members; foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Assist in planning manpower and equipment needs based on forecast and production plans.
