Head of Finance – South Jakarta – WFO (ID: 708556)

PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients, a Japanese company in restaurant/FnB industry (running several restaurant chain in Indonesia) as a Head of Finance

Working Location: South Jakarta

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounting, Finance, and Tax Department (4 team members)

  • 1 Tax staff

  • 3 Finance & Accunting staff

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing activities

• Review and approve financial statements, accounting reports, and tax documentation

• Participate in regular financial meetings with the Singapore Regional Headquarters

• Prepare monthly financial reports for the Japan Headquarters and attend reporting meetings

• Coordinate with external accounting firms, tax consultants, and auditors

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations

• Improve accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls

• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and key business indicators

• Support accounting and finance process changes related to the franchise business transfer to Singapore

• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management

• Lead and develop the accounting team while overseeing overall department operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accounting, economics, business administration or relevant major

• Min. 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial management roles, ideally from same industry (F&B) but can try from any industry as well

• Min. 5 years of people management or leadership experience

• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment

• (preferred) Japanese Skill min. N2 for internal communication with RHQ CEO and BoD (Japanese people) and the Japan HQ

• English Intermediate level or above
