Job Description
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade key accounts to achieve sales targets and business growth.
Manage end-to-end account activities, including business planning, negotiations, annual trading terms, promotional programs, and contract renewals.
Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution within Modern Trade channels.
Prepare and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key customers.
Monitor sales performance, stock availability, sell-in/sell-out, and inventory levels to optimize business performance.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service) to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and promotional activities.
Analyze sales data, market trends, competitor activities, and customer performance to recommend business improvement strategies.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy account receivables.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reviews, and management reports.
Represent the company during customer meetings, business reviews, and negotiations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Modern Trade Manager, or similar role handling Modern Trade accounts.
Experience in sporting goods, consumer goods (FMCG), lifestyle, retail, or related industries is highly preferred.
Proven experience managing major Modern Trade customers such as Hypermart, Transmart, ACE Hardware, Sports Station, MAP Active, or other national retail chains.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify business opportunities.
Results-oriented with strong commercial and business acumen.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Willing to travel for business meetings and customer visits
