Key Responsibilities
● Deliver engaging, deeply technical product demonstrations to prospective clients and their technical leadership.
● Lead technical discovery sessions to map out the prospect's current network, phone systems, and API capabilities.
● Build and present tailored proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to show how our AI voice agents handle specific customer use cases.
● Respond to technical sections of RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and security questionnaires.
● Act as the trusted technical advisor to prospects, answering questions about AI latency, data security, and integration capabilities.
● Scope the initial solution architecture and handle the technical handoff to the post-sales Forward Deployed Engineering team after winning the deal. Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
● 3 to 5 years of experience as a Presales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Sales Consultant.
● Proven track record of supporting enterprise software sales cycles and closing technical deals. Skills & Experience
● Technical Skills: ○ Solid understanding of AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), and how conversational AI works. ○ Good grasp of enterprise communication tech, such as APIs, WebRTC, SIP, or traditional telephony systems. ○ Ability to write basic scripts, configure APIs, and connect data sources to build rapid prototypes for demos. ○ Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and enterprise security standards to comfortably handle security reviews.
● Soft Skills: ○ Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI logic to non-technical executives. ○ Strong active listening skills to quickly pinpoint a client's core business problems and technical roadblocks. ○ High emotional intelligence to navigate objections, build trust, and manage multiple stakeholder opinions during a deal. ○ Quick learner who can adapt to fast-moving product updates and translate them into sales advantages. Nice-to-Haves
● Experience selling B2B SaaS, developer tools, or AI infrastructure.
● Familiarity with voice technology, contact center software (CCaaS), or speech-to-text engines. Work Environment This is a fast-paced, sales-driven role that requires a mix of technical creativity and strong people skills. You will work closely with sales and product teams, with the flexibility to travel up to 25–30% for key on-site client pitches and discovery workshops.
