Senior CNC Programmer

Qualifications:

1. MALE / FEMALE, holding a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer (Preferably experienced in operating CNC machines with Y-Axis capability (Mill-Turn)).
3. Able to Operate the following CNC machines:
   a. Mill-Turn/Lathe: Doosan Puma 2600LY (Y-Axis) & Goodway GS-4300L.
   b. Milling: Makino V33 (High Speed) & Mazak FJV35/80 (Double Column).
4. Strong proficiency in CNC programming (G-Code & M-Code) for milling and turning operations.
5. Experienced in using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam / SolidCAM / NX / Esprit).
6. Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.
7. Solid knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and process optimization.
8. Able to work independently or in a team, meet production targets, and mentor junior staff.
9. Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
10. Fluent in spoken and written English.
11. Candidates based in Batam or the Riau Islands are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop zero-error CNC programs using CAM software for Turning, Mill-Turn (Y-Axis), and High-Speed Milling processes.
2. Define optimal cutting tools, feeds & speeds, and machining strategies to minimize cycle time for hard and standard materials.
3. Prepare detailed setup sheets for operators and resolve technical or dimensional issues at the machine.
4. Ensure machining output meets GD&T requirements and high-precision standards (Makino/Mazak level).
5. Optimize machining processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
6. Troubleshoot CNC program and machining issues to reduce defects and downtime.
7. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S practices.
8. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Facility (Maintenance) teams to support smooth operations and machine repairs when required.
9. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to CNC programmers and operators
