[HN, Garena] Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

• Business Analysis: Translate business questions into clear KPIs, metrics, and analytical requirements.
• Power BI Development: Design, build, and optimize data models, DAX measures, dashboards, and report performance.
• Report Standardization: Reverse-engineer existing reports to align KPI logic, business rules, and reporting requirements.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure KPI consistency and validate report accuracy against source data and business rules.
• Knowledge Management: Create analysis playbooks, documentation, and user guides to drive report adoption and reuse.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers to define the right balance between data modeling and report-layer logic.
• AI & Self-Service Analytics: Enable AI-assisted analysis and self-service reporting with trusted metrics, prompts, and validation frameworks.
• Project Documentation: Maintain task tracking, documentation, and handover notes to ensure continuity and collaboration.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting, with a proven track record of delivering business insights.
• Strong Power BI expertise in data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, visualization, and performance optimization.
• Solid analytical thinking with the ability to translate business problems into KPIs, metrics, and actionable insights.
• Strong SQL and data literacy, with experience validating data, understanding joins, aggregations, and collaborating with Data Engineers.
• Having experience working with Microsoft Fabric/Power BI semantic model, Direct Lake/Import/DirectQuery, RLS, or enterprise BI migration experience.
• Experience building and maintaining business dashboards, KPI frameworks, semantic models, and recurring reports for stakeholders.
• Understanding of data governance, including KPI definitions, metric consistency, documentation, and source-of-truth management.
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis, SQL/DAX generation, documentation, and reporting while ensuring output quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and Vietnamese for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Ownership, adaptability, and structured problem-solving, with the ability to learn quickly and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
