Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive sales growth through ABB’s channel partner ecosystem within the designated market, aligned with the division’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and other channel partners to achieve sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new business opportunities through indirect sales channels while strengthening partner capabilities and engagement.

This role is contributing to the Electrification in Jakarta, Indonesia. Main stakeholders are channel partners, distributors, sales teams, product managers, marketing teams, and end customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Developing and executing channel sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth within assigned territories.

Communicating ABB’s value proposition, product offerings, commercial terms, and promotional programs to channel partners and customers.

Identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and developing new channel partners while strengthening existing partnerships.

Managing sales administration, forecasting, partner performance reviews, pipeline tracking, and supporting cash collection and project activities when required.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in channel sales, partner management, and business development within the industrial automation, electrical, or technology sector.

You have 3+ years of experience in sales, channel management, account management, or business development, preferably working with distributors, resellers, or system integrators.

You possess strong knowledge of CRM platforms (such as Salesforce), sales planning, forecasting, and opportunity management processes.

You are passionate about relationship building, negotiation, stakeholder management, and delivering customer-centric solutions.

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

You are at ease communicating in English and the local market language, both written and verbal.

You are willing to travel within the assigned territory and hold any required work authorization and driving license applicable to the role.
