Key responsibilities
Oversee daily operational activities across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution functions
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
Manage and supervise operational staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback
Coordinate with other departments including production, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations
Analyse operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
Manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal allocation and cost control
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within operational processes
Troubleshoot operational issues and develop solutions to maintain productivity and quality standards
Report on operational performance to senior management and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in operational management or similar leadership role within manufacturing or consumer goods industry
Strong knowledge of operational best practices, lean management, and process optimisation
Proven experience in managing teams, staff supervision, and performance management
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Proficiency in using operational management software and Microsoft Office applications
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively across departments
Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
Fluency in Indonesian and English language
Willingness to work on-site at our Medan facility
