SCM Intern

Job Scope

To support the Supply Chain team in daily purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, and administrative activities to ensure efficient procurement operations and accurate record management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supplier sourcing and market research for fresh food items and non-food items.
• Support the procurement process by preparing and organizing quotations, purchase requests, and supplier documentation.
• Support in tracking and monitoring contract progress and renewal timelines with vendors 
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing trackers to ensure data accuracy.
• Support inventory control and stock monitoring activities when required.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement and operational processes.
• Perform administrative and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor to support departmental objectives.

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and demand planning.
• Strong interest in purchasing, procurement, and supplier management within the restaurant or food service industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Comfortable working with data, reports, and administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory systems, or procurement platforms is an advantage but not required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous internship experience is not required.
• Experience through academic projects, student organizations, case competitions, or part-time work related to supply chain, procurement, operations, or data analysis is a plus.
