Cosmetic & Personal Care Product Development

Responsibilities : 

- Lead the creation and development of new product concepts through in-depth market research, covering local and international beauty trends.

- Drive end-to-end product development processes, including concept ideation, formulation direction, packaging innovation, and commercialization readiness.

- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research from internal and external respondents and translate insights into actionable product strategies.

- Oversee consumer testing activities, including acquiring and managing external respondents for under-development products.

- Evaluate consumer feedback and market data to ensure product relevance, performance, and competitiveness.

- Develop and disseminate product knowledge and market insight reports across internal stakeholders.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Creative teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.

- Manage, track, and execute multiple product development projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.

- Stay up to date with global and local beauty, skincare, and cosmetic trends, ingredients, and innovations.

Requirements :

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field (or other majors with strong, relevant experience in beauty product development).

- Proven minimum 2 years of experience in beauty, skincare, or cosmetic product development. 

- Strong knowledge of skincare or makeup ingredients, market trends, formulation, concepts, and beauty industry standards.

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong project management capability with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
