SPED TEACHER

Paraprofessional Teacher (SPED) – Makati City

We are looking for a Licensed Teacher or SPED Teacher to provide in-class support for a student at a school in Makati City.

Student & School Details:

• Student incoming Grade 4
• Class Start Date: August 5, 2026
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:40 AM – 3:00 PM
• Location: Makati City

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Teacher (LET Passer)
• SPED education, training, or relevant teaching experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in Special Education
• Experience providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs is an advantage
• Experience teaching in an international school is a plus
• Patient, organized, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with students who require academic and behavioral support
• Willing to undergo interviews with both the student's parents and the school

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the student in completing classroom tasks and learning activities
• Help the student stay focused, organized, and engaged during lessons
• Reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and positive behaviors
• Provide additional support during challenging subjects and writing tasks
• Monitor the student's academic progress, engagement, and behavior
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding the student's needs and progress
• Assist in implementing accommodations and learning support strategies recommended by the school
• Encourage independence by guiding the student rather than completing tasks for them
• Ensure the student's safety and follow school policies and procedures at all times
• Attend school activities, assemblies, and transitions whenever classes are in session
