About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lawyer to join our in-house legal team on a fulltime basis in Bali. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to PT The Paralian Uluwatu, advising on a wide range of commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters. You will play a crucial role in protecting the organisation's interests, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior management and operational teams, providing strategic legal guidance that directly impacts the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to management on corporate and operational matters.

• Handle and manage fraud investigations, disputes, and legal risk mitigation.

• Advise on real estate transactions, land ownership, leases, property development, and Indonesian real estate regulations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

• Represent the company in court proceedings and coordinate litigation strategies with external parties when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations.

• Liaise with government agencies, regulators, notaries, and external legal counsel.

• Identify legal risks and recommend practical business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's Degree is an advantage).

• Licensed Advocate (PERADI or equivalent) with the ability to represent clients in court.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with both law firm and in-house experience.

• Proven experience handling fraud cases, litigation, and dispute resolution.

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian real estate and property law.

• Experience representing clients in court proceedings.

• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken.

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
