About the role
PT The Paralian Uluwatu is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our creative team on a contract basis in Bali. This is an exciting opportunity to design and create exceptional interior spaces for our luxury hospitality property. You will play a key role in developing innovative design concepts that enhance guest experiences and align with our brand vision. This position offers the chance to work on high-profile projects in one of Indonesia's most prestigious locations.
Key responsibilities
Develop creative interior design concepts and design solutions that meet project briefs and brand guidelines
Produce detailed design drawings, floor plans, elevations and 3D visualisations for client presentations
Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment for interior spaces
Manage design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and suppliers to ensure design intent is realised
Conduct site inspections and prepare design proposals that respond to space constraints and client requirements
Source and curate furnishings, artwork and decorative elements that complement the overall design scheme
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to refine designs based on feedback and feasibility considerations
What we're looking for
Qualification in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Proven portfolio demonstrating strong creative design skills and experience with commercial or hospitality projects
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Experience with 3D visualisation and rendering software
Strong understanding of spatial planning, colour theory, materials and lighting design
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
Experience in project management and coordinating with contractors and suppliers
Attention to detail and ability to work to tight timelines and budgets
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and sustainability principles in design
Experience in luxury hospitality, resort or high-end residential design is highly desirable
