Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to building and construction projects. The successful candidate will help ensure projects are completed within budget while meeting quality and compliance standards. This role involves cost estimation, contract administration, procurement support, progress valuation, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Monitor project costs and track variations, claims, and change orders.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid analysis, and contractor/subcontractor evaluation.
• Prepare and manage interim valuations, progress billings, and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, payments, and contractual documentation.
• Provide regular cost reports and financial updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry regulations

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, estimation, contract administration, and procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost estimating software, and quantity take-off tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects or deadlines.
