Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (AI-Native)

About the role

PT Monica HijauLestari is seeking an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (AI-Native). This is a strategic position designed to support our organisation's infrastructure and deployment operations with a forward-thinking, AI-native approach. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, whilst leveraging modern AI and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency. This position is integral to ensuring our systems remain secure, scalable, and resilient whilst embracing cutting-edge technologies that drive our digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems that support the organisation's applications and services

2. Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test and deployment processes

3. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible to ensure reproducible and version-controlled infrastructure

4. Monitor system performance, availability and security, implementing proactive measures to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations

5. Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and design scalable infrastructure solutions

6. Implement and maintain containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to support modern application deployment

7. Establish and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting systems to provide visibility into infrastructure health and application performance

8. Conduct security audits, manage access controls and implement best practices for infrastructure security and compliance

9. Leverage AI-native tools and automation frameworks to optimise infrastructure management, reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency

10. Document infrastructure architecture, processes and runbooks to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in infrastructure and systems administration, with a demonstrated focus on DevOps practices and cloud platforms

2. Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

3. Proficiency in containerisation technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes, with experience orchestrating containerised workloads in production environments

4. Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, with hands-on experience using platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar solutions

5. Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with tools including Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible

6. Experience with monitoring, logging and observability platforms such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana or Datadog

7. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash or similar, with the ability to automate routine infrastructure tasks

8. Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts (specifically Claude Code), with an understanding of how to design infrastructure to support AI/ML workloads and large language model (LLM) applications

9. Familiarity with AI-native development and deployment tools, including experience with AI automation frameworks or AI-assisted development platforms

10. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
