Mid Fullstack Developer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ownership over architecture/design decisions, not just implementing specs, but proposing solutions and weighing trade-offs.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, only escalating genuinely complex or ambiguous problems.

Code review responsibility, reviewing peers' or juniors' code, not just having their own reviewed.

Mentorship, guiding junior developers, pairing, or helping onboard new hires.

Estimation/scoping skills, able to break down features and give realistic time/effort estimates.

Production ownership, comfortable debugging/troubleshooting issues in live environments, not just dev/test.

Cross-functional communication, direct interaction with clients/stakeholders to clarify requirements, not just receiving fully-defined tasks.

Proven experience in front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong proficiency in ReactJS and NextJS (knowledge of Vue.js, Astro, or Svelte is a plus).

Proven experience in back-end development using Node.js, Fastify, and Go (knowledge of Java/Spring Boot is a plus).

Practical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, and Vercel.

Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, such as SQL Server, SingleStore, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and Redis, including schema design and query optimization.

Solid experience with unit testing, security remediation, and non-functional testing.

Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, orchestration, and containerization.

Practical experience with test-driven development (TDD) and applying security concepts for prevention and detection.

Hands-on experience with automated testing using Jest, Playwright, Test-Ng, and/or Cypress.

Comfortable working in Linux environments (Ubuntu/RedHat).

Experienced in Agile workflows and tools such as JIRA, Airtable, ClickUp, Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Trello, and Bitbucket, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and software craftsmanship.

Translate design specifications and business workflows into readable, maintainable, and well-architected code.

Investigate, design, test, apply, and evaluate new or existing technologies, and recommend improvements to the team.

Write and modify code that is scalable, performant, resilient, and well-documented, while helping enforce coding standards across the team.

Maintain and upgrade existing systems, ensuring proper training and documentation are provided to users.

Deploy and manage test and development environments, ensuring consistency and identifying discrepancies before they reach production.

Report on weekly tasks and progress using project management tools such as JIRA, Airtable, ClickUp, Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Trello, and Bitbucket.

Own documentation efforts, including technical installation guides, administration manuals, code usage references, application configuration guides, and training materials.

Contribute to improving team processes, tooling, or documentation standards.

Lead discussions on engineering issues and trade-offs, contributing sound technical judgment to the team.

Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and clients, and provide guidance to junior developers when needed.
