General Objectives:

Act as team lead and checker for KYC Governance Team, which consists of KYC Support, Projects and Policy Governance, Audit and Issue Management, MIS. Act as backup for KYC BAU Checker

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure a stable, robust, and continuous operation of KYC Governance Team
• Advance a culture of continuous improvement by creating efficiencies, technology initiatives and reducing complexities (priority on the internal processes), where possible, and more proactive in driving discussion with related stakeholders in the branch/regional to streamline the process out without jeopardizing internal procedures and requirements.
• Check and review initiatives and projects to ensure proper risk mitigation
• Check and ensure accuracy and timeliness of MIS and reports data submission
• Check and review KYC processes to identify weaknesses, loopholes, and improvement opportunities.
• Checks all documents related to KYC related matters, proper filing and overnight pending.
• Checks proper, accurate and speedy handling on all KYC issues.
• Reviews observation of laws, regulations and rules related to KYC

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Have a knowledge regarding KYC Principles and Procedures, Laws and regulations in financial industry, General Banking Operations, Operational Risk Management or equivalent,
• Excellent in English, both written and verbal
• Possess proper business etiquette and team player oriented
