Farm Operations
Lead and manage the overall operation of Grand Parent Stock (GPS) Breeding Farm, ensuring production targets, breeder performance, and operational efficiency are achieved.
Develop annual operational plans, production strategies, manpower planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, breeder management standards, and applicable government regulations.
Production Management
Monitor and optimize breeder performance throughout the production cycle, including brooding, rearing, pre-lay, laying, and depletion.
Analyze and improve key production indicators such as:
Hen Day Production
Hen Housed Production
Fertility
Hatchability
Livability
Mortality
Egg Production
Egg Quality
Feed Conversion
Chick Output
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve production targets.
Biosecurity & Animal Health
Establish, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive biosecurity program aligned with international breeder standards.
Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity measures, including zoning, sanitation, personnel movement, vehicle control, visitor management, and disease prevention protocols.
Collaborate with Veterinary and Technical Services teams to develop vaccination schedules, disease surveillance programs, outbreak response plans, and laboratory monitoring.
Ensure compliance with Animal Welfare standards and best farming practices.
Farm Facility & Environmental Management
Oversee the operation and maintenance of Closed House systems, including ventilation, cooling pads, heating systems, generators, alarms, water systems, and environmental controls.
Ensure optimal environmental conditions are maintained to maximize breeder performance and bird welfare.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with Engineering teams to minimize operational downtime.
Financial & Resource Management
Develop and manage annual operational budgets (OPEX and CAPEX).
Monitor feed utilization, medication costs, labor costs, utilities, and overall farm expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
Identify opportunities for productivity improvement while maintaining quality and operational standards.
Leadership & People Management
Lead, develop, coach, and evaluate supervisors, technical staff, and farm personnel.
Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, discipline, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ensure all employees consistently comply with operational procedures, biosecurity protocols, and occupational health & safety regulations.
Reporting & Data Analysis
Analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports.
Utilize farm management systems and data analytics to identify trends, solve operational issues, and support strategic decision-making.
Present operational performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Animal Production, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or other related disciplines.
Professional certification related to poultry management, biosecurity, or animal welfare will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the poultry breeding industry.
Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience leading Breeding Farm operations.
Proven experience managing Grand Parent Stock (GPS) farms is highly preferred. Candidates with strong Parent Stock (PS) management experience and outstanding performance are encouraged to apply.
Experience managing large-scale commercial breeding operations with Closed House systems.
Demonstrated success in improving productivity, operational efficiency, and farm performance.
