About the role

Petugas Keselamatan (Safety Officer) for the IKN Nusantara construction project. The role is responsible for comprehensive management of occupational safety, construction standards, fire prevention, temporary electrical systems, machinery equipment, and high-altitude work at the IKN project site. The position requires full-time residence at the IKN Nusantara project location in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall occupational safety, construction standards, fire prevention, temporary electrical systems, machinery equipment, and high-altitude work at the IKN project site. Develop comprehensive safety management documentation, implement local Indonesian construction safety standards and internal project safety management systems.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and direct supervision at the construction site. Implement primary controls for high-risk work including high-altitude work, heavy load lifting, temporary electrical use, and open flame work. Immediately halt work that violates regulations and request corrections, monitor until corrective actions are completed to prevent workplace accidents.
• Provide technical safety explanations, pre-work safety education, safety training, and safety briefings for field work teams. Create safety briefing records for all workers to enhance occupational safety awareness among field workers.
• Master Indonesian construction safety standards and IKN regional management requirements. Participate in safety inspections from government and relevant agencies, and verify building permits (PBG) to ensure project construction is conducted legally and in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate installation of safety protection facilities, safety signage, and management of fire prevention equipment. Conduct periodic equipment condition checks to ensure safe working conditions at the construction site.
• Collect, summarize, and report field safety documentation. Support the project team in receiving safety inspection results, conducting monthly safety inspections, preparing safety summary reports, and related work.
• Independently coordinate with local work teams, suppliers, and relevant regional agencies, resolve field safety issues, and handle safety emergencies at the construction site.

About you

• Priority requirement: Practical experience in safety management for apartment or government ASN apartment projects at IKN Nusantara. Understanding of field conditions, construction conditions, regional approval procedures, and local IKN resources. Candidates without IKN project experience are not prioritized.
• Minimum 5 years of field safety management experience for residential/apartment building projects. Understanding of the complete high-rise apartment construction process and control points for high-risk work safety.
• Must hold a valid official Indonesian construction profession certificate. Certificate must meet mandatory government standards for building permit (PBG) processing and be valid for lawful work and registration.
• Willing to work full-time residence at the IKN project site long-term and adapt to field work schedules. Basic Mandarin Chinese communication ability is an added value; ability to work with translators for smooth operations.
• Master Indonesian construction and safety standards, possess field control capability and good coordination skills, able to manage local work teams and communicate independently with supplier partners.

Benefits

• Monthly salary negotiated individually, determined comprehensively based on work experience at IKN, certificate level, and candidate work capability. Candidates with exceptional experience will receive priority negotiation regarding allowances.
• Project provides full free accommodation and meals. Candidates will reside in government ASN apartments owned by the project, work meals provided, no personal accommodation and meal costs.
• In accordance with Indonesian laws and regulations, the company registers BPJS Health and BPJS Employment to ensure lawful employment.
• Performance allowances and position allowances can be negotiated, provided according to individual performance and project conditions.
• Work contracts signed every 6 months, 3-month probation period. During probation, salary is 80% of regular salary; after passing probation, full salary is paid.

About us

Professional property development company and main contractor. Total project land area at IKN Nusantara, Indonesia is approximately 15,000 m² with building area approximately 40,000 m². Planning to construct 8 apartment buildings with 14 floors each along with supporting underground parking. The project is currently in construction phase.
